Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 September 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Lynko.tv, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using our services.

2. Service Description

Lynko.tv provides link shortening, link-in-bio pages, QR code generation, and analytics. Features may change or be updated at any time.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Lynko.tv. If you are under 16, a parent or legal guardian must provide any consent required by law. If you create an account on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

4. User Content & Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you create, upload, link to, embed, or otherwise make available through Lynko.tv. This includes the destinations your short links resolve to and materials shown on your link-in-bio pages.

  • You must have all necessary rights to the content you share or link.
  • Your use must comply with Dutch law and, where applicable, the laws of your and your audience's location.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use Lynko.tv for illegal or harmful purposes, including:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any exploitation content.
  • Promotion of terrorism, extreme violence, or hate speech.
  • Phishing, malware, fraud, deceptive redirects or cloaking.
  • Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or other rights.
  • Unlawful streaming, counterfeit goods, or unlawful gambling.

You may not attempt to bypass limits, abuse trials, automate at harmful scale, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with service integrity. Disclose affiliate/sponsored links where required.

6. Reporting Illegal or Harmful Content (Notice & Action)

Help keep Lynko.tv safe. If you believe a link or page violates these Terms or law, please report it.

  • Use the Report button where available, or contact us via Contact with the short code, full URL, and a short explanation.
  • For copyright reports, include: your contact info, the work claimed infringed, the exact short code/URL, and a good faith statement that the use is not authorized.

We review reports in good faith and may remove or restrict access where appropriate. We preserve related data as required by law. You can appeal a removal by replying to our notice within 14 days via Contact. When we restrict content or accounts, we provide a statement of reasons and information on available redress.

7. Plans, Billing & Auto-Renewal

Paid plans bill in advance and renew automatically each period until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method. Prices and plan limits are shown at checkout and in your dashboard. Taxes/VAT are applied where required.

8. Cancellation & Termination

Cancellation Cutoff: To avoid being charged for the next billing period, cancellations must be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled renewal date and time. Cancellations made within the final 24 hours may not stop the upcoming payment, but will prevent any further renewals.

9. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. If you choose “start immediately”, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge you lose the withdrawal right once full performance begins. If you cancel within 14 days before full performance, we may charge a proportionate amount.

10. Cancellations & Refunds

You can cancel any time in your dashboard (no support contact required). Your plan remains active until the end of the current period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Under EU law you retain mandatory consumer rights, including the right to dispute card payments with your bank under PSD2 and card-scheme rules and to request SEPA Direct Debit refunds (within 8 weeks for authorized debits; up to 13 months if unauthorized). We will cooperate with banks and payment partners and provide evidence for delivered services. If a dispute is fraudulent or repeatedly unfounded, or if paid features were substantially consumed after delivery, we may suspend paid features, terminate the subscription, and seek recovery of outstanding amounts. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights. For digital services delivered immediately after your explicit consent, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply (Directive 2011/83/EU).

11. Payments via Mollie

We process payments via Mollie B.V. We do not store full card details. Availability of payment methods may vary by country, currency, risk, and compliance checks. Some methods (e.g., card, SEPA Direct Debit) allow chargebacks; if a chargeback occurs, the amount may be reclaimed and deducted from your balance or invoiced to you. Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) may be required for certain transactions. You agree that we may share necessary payment data with Mollie to process transactions, prevent fraud, and comply with law. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend or limit access until payment is settled.

For SEPA Direct Debit payments, you will receive a pre-notification of the debit (amount, date, and mandate reference) at least 3 days in advance, as agreed in these Terms. This shortens the statutory 14-day pre-notification period under SEPA rules by mutual agreement. Chargebacks and refund rights remain as provided by law.

12. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime or error-free service.

13. Moderation & Enforcement

We may monitor or review content at our discretion but are not obligated to do so. We may remove or restrict links, pages, or accounts to comply with law, respond to reports, or protect users and the service. We provide a statement of reasons for significant restrictions and an internal complaint process. Repeated or serious violations can lead to account termination.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. For business users, material changes will be notified on a durable medium (e.g., email) at least 15 days before they take effect (longer where required). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Custom Domains

If you connect a custom domain, you represent you control the DNS. You authorize us to request TLS certificates and route traffic for your domain for the Service. Upon termination, remove our DNS; we may cease routing immediately.

16. API, Automation & Scraping

Automated access requires our written permission or use of our documented API within rate limits. You may not scrape, bulk-harvest, or circumvent technical measures.

17. Intellectual Property (Service)

The Service, including the Lynko trademarks and software, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code except where permitted by law.

18. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We strive for continuity but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to a pro-rata portion of your paid subscription fee for the period the Service was demonstrably unavailable, calculated on a daily basis (for example, 1 day of downtime = 1/30 of the monthly fee).

We will never be liable for more than this amount, regardless of the type of claim. We are not liable for indirect damages, consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

19. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lynko.tv and its owners from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Courts in the Netherlands have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are an EU consumer, you may benefit from mandatory protections of your local law and may bring proceedings in your local courts.

21. Contact / Imprint

Lynko.tv is operated by Madeliz (KvK 77510194), The Netherlands. Contact

Translations are for convenience only. The English version controls in case of conflict.
